Creativity means to push open the heavy, groaning doorway of life itself. This is not an easy task. Indeed, it may be the most severely challenging struggle there is. For opening the door to your own life is in the end more difficult than opening the door to all the mysteries of the universe. — Daisaku Ikeda|http://tinyurl.com/buddhist-view

WHAT’S WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE?

Photo 1: On March 24, 2012, I posted this photo in my blog about “a lily white representation of Germantown history, including two icons of slavery, on the wall in a predominantly black, and increasingly poor neighborhood.”

Photo 2: April 20, 2012, I was informed by a friend that Save-A-Lot has affixed a picture of David P. Richardson Jr., (April 23, 1948 – August 18, 1995) former Pennsylvania state representative, to the bottom left corner of the mural, on top of the picture of Benjamin Chew. No text to accompany his image. Just the photo. Obviously, they still don’t get it. Went to see it for myself. What do you think?
